Welcome
What is Rotary?
Rotary is a worldwide organization with more than 32,000 clubs across 200 countries composed of people who care about their communities and work to make our world a better place. Clubs represent no political agenda and no religious sect. Clubs worldwide support local betterment projects and work together to support international peace and understanding through shared community betterment.
How does our club fit in?
Our club was founded in 1977, has about 40 members from all parts of Genesee County from Fenton on the south to Clio on the north and all areas in between. We are also a part of a group of 60 clubs ranging from the Flint area, across into London, Ontario making our Rotary District one of the few international districts in the world. Each of our clubs support not only their own communities but we Rotarians get the opportunity for international friendship and combined support.
How can you fit in?
Every person who joins Rotary has some things in common with 1.2 million people worldwide:
- we care about their community and about making the world a better place;
- we have some understanding and skills which can help the others;
- we are willing to devote some time in our busy lives toward community and world betterment.
