Dennis Dinsmore, PDG
Past Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator
Our club's effectiveness in our community and in our world can be attributed to two things: to the dedication of people who volunteer their time and skills and to the project money that helps power our efforts. Dennis will show us how the funding side of Rotary works and how our club can leverage those funds to help reach our goal of a stronger community and a better world.
Our 41st year of the $5 Grand Raffle comes to a close with the drawing for prizes. The drawing will be held at the Redwood Steakhouse in Grand Blanc at 7:00 pm EST and can be viewed live online at the club's Facebook page.
Club members, ticket holders and guests are all welcome to join us starting at 6:00 pm for fellowship, cash bar and Retwood pizza provided by our sponsors, Curbco, Inc. and Sedgewick and Ferweda Architects.
The Student of the month recognition for the 2024-25 school year continues, where we honor two students from each of three high schools in the area, Carman-Ainsworth, Swartz Creek and Powers Catholic for their service to their schools and to their community.
At the end of the year one previous honoree from each school will be selected for Student of the Year and will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
