Dec. 26, 2023 - No Meeting, Time to Be a Hero
"True heroism is saving a child you will never meet and who will never know who to thank."
Before the year ends, please consider a gift to the Rotary Foundation to help fund Rotary's ongoing effort to keep children safe from the crippling and life threatening disease of polio. Each dollar you give vaccinates two children.
Your gift will be matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation,
you will receive a tax receipt and points toward your Paul Harris award. Most important, you will know you have done something to make the world a better place. Thank you for all you do for Rotary!
50/50 Drawing Update
Each week the club holds a 50/50 drawing with proceeds going to our literacy project fund. Tickets are $1.00 each, 3 for $2.00. Three tickets from that week's donations are drawn and, in turn, each drawn ticket holder gets to select a card from an ever shrinking deck hoping to get the designated card and win the pot. Losing cards are discarded, the deck gets smaller and if no one wins the pot that week, it is rolled over to the next drawing.
