Our club's newest member who transferred from the Frankenmuth club, will update us on the current status of several projects in progress or proposed around the community including the Miracle League park and the projected opening of the Costco store.
Since Greg is a new member he will also spend a few moments introducing himself to the club.
Jeff Ferweda, District Governor Elect
Rotary District 6330
Four months from now on July 1st the Rotary world will transfer its leadership to a new group of volunteers, from club officers to district officials to the Rotary International president. Our club will get a new president, George Gray, and the district will get a new governor, our own Jeff Ferweda.
We will have the honor of being members of the Governor's Home Club and with that honor comes some responsibility. DGE Jeff and past governor Dennis will tell the club what this means and how we can help make the 2025-26 "The best darn year in 6330!".
The Student of the month recognition for the 2024-25 school year continues, where we honor two students from each of three high schools in the area, Carman-Ainsworth, Swartz Creek and Powers Catholic for their service to their schools and to their community.
At the end of the year one previous honoree from each school will be selected for Student of the Year and will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
