Gov. Sonja will be joining us as the first club of 60 on her official visit schedule to talk about her vision for helping our clubs grow through service in our communities. Learn how Sonja, a registered nurse, healthcare administrator and member of the Meaford club has used her professional skills to improve lives in her own community and as far away as Tanzania, Africa.
Eric, a retired teacher from Carman-Ainsworth, decided several years ago to go solar. Hear first hand how he did it, the challenges he faced and the economic advantages he now enjoys. As a local area resident, what he learned about using solar energy will be a great resource for those of us considering solar ourselves.
Erin will join us to talk about the upcoming PGA Ally Challenge tournament in August at Warwick Hills. First started in 2018, this tournament has donated more than $4.5 million in support of local charities in the greater Flint area and beyond. Along with the tournament ithere are many other activities planned as well as some volunteer opportunities for Rotarians.
